|294. While on vacation with my husband in northeastern Arizona in the fall of 2002, I spotted this abandoned Pacer in a field next to Cake Chevrolet on Old Route 66 just east of Winslow, Arizona. As you can see, it's not the only orphan in this field. The tires are shot, and the car's full of junk, but it was registered as recently as '99 (see the license plate picture), which may mean it wouldn't take too much to get this little coupe running.
