welcome to the elite society of Pacer owner/operators!
any automotive upholsterer can repair the seats. the fabric was
custom made for AMC and is difficult (but not impossible) to locate.
search the list archive; I believe the subject came up a couple of
months ago and there may be a lead (buried in there with all the
flame message traffic).

a simpler approach might be: check out salvage yards to see if a
parts donor Pacer might have some suitable seats. perhaps you can
just swap them out. if you do so, read the TSM (technical service
manual, if you've managed to get one) with the following in mind:
- DISREGARD the procedure for removing the front seats -- it's much
easier to detach the whole thing, rails and all, from the floor.
for rear seat and cushion, though, follow the book.
but then
- NOTE CAREFULLY when putting any seats into the car that you need to
follow the spec and tighten the fasteners to the correct torque.
correct fastening of the seats to the frame is, of course, essential
for safety (you don't want to have the seats flying around inside
the car in the event of a collision or even an emergency brake
application).
good luck with your project.
